The Calamity Pre-Hardmode Mage Experience

Have you ever wanted to hurl pumpkins at goblins? How about fire magical lasers at massive globs of slime? Or even cheese an end-game boss with a funny lil gray toy? If you answered "Yes" to any of these, then Mage might just be the class for YOUR Calamity playthrough!

A mod I really recommend is Fargo's Mutant
it allows you to get permanent potion buffs when you have 30 stack of a potion
as well as items that can instantly build platforms for arenas and also one for an instant hellevator

Look on the bright side, it's not the longest Ice Barrage grind I've seen.

Infinite pierce is amazing early on. Particular shout out to the Bongos from Thorium; technically pre-boss thanks to Aquaite, and you don't even have to aim since its attack range is a big circle!
