I remember the early days, seeing people react to the original siren sprite before even Nahlyn was the siren (predating the change to Anahita for anyone that hasn't been around since before v1.4.5 from Aug 2020). Back then the project was much less professional and the modding scene was smaller so it felt like the mod was just being a silly mod instead of today where it's aiming to be something of a professional quality expansion. Not that the old days were better, they were just simpler times. They just kind of said "hmmm fish tibbies" and went with it.
