As a newbie to calamity, it would really help if you show some footage of the weapons you're recommending, or even just the images of those weapons (instead of just texts), same with armours and accessories (like what do they do, set bonus, etc.) . Since for new calamity players or first time mage players, this video is largely a text dump, so much went over my head I don't even know what to look out for

Reaver shark is not nerfed in calamity, meaning you can shred through pre-hard mode with hell stone gear (flare bolt).

pro tip for providence: swap nebula armor for hydrothermic set with the hydrothermic mask, then get a weapon like effervescense, swarmer or nuclear fury and you pretty much win as long as you stay close enough to providence so the holy inferno doesn't happen and have decent dodging skills
Nebula set doesn't do as good bc hydrothermic set can outheal most providence attacks

Good guide, for as much praise mage gets for “weapon diversity” it really bores the hell out of me and having to deal with having the 2nd least defense in the game, dealing with mana, potions, mana sickness just makes this class feel underwhelming to me compared to others
