The Bard's Tale series has always been defined by its music. That's especially true in The Bard's Tale IV: Barrows Deep, as this latest spotlight shows!

The Celtic theme brings something magical to the game and the singers we saw and heard in this video were amazing. The soundtrack will be great. I love it already.

Finally, after hours of searching, I figured out that music is "The Earl of Salisbury", by William Byrd. Whew, now my OCD can relax.

Will there be special collector's edition of the game, OR at the absolute very least, a soundtrack for purchase (CD or MP3). I've been a Bard's Tale fan since the mid 80s and have fond memories of playing it on my Apple IIe computer. So that song you played at the beginning really brought be back (I played in monochrome yellow mind you as I didn't have a color monitor back in the day). From all the work you've put in this far, I'm happy to report that everything looks superb. Almost like a perfect blend of old school & new school!

This is the first update that made me glad I backed the game. Regardless of how cartoony the characters look or how the gameplay is, at least the soundtrack will be wonderful.

No physical, no buy. Steam code in a box doesn't count. You can't say you have pride in your game if you don't give it a proper release which is a physical release with the entire game on disc(s)/flash drive and that doesn't require some scum "service" like Steam.
