Now guys, what do you remember about games? This is in-engine, which means it is being rendered in real time by the game's engine code.

This does NOT mean that this is what the final game will look like, as the development processes involved in making a game like this with size and scope and various environments etc. may likely mean that it has to be graphically reduced throughout the development process in order to be playable in its final form.

This is normal, I don't wanna hear anyone say "downgrade" after this because I, Kaiser68, have warned you in advance.

So much win. Just so freaking much. Glad to be one of the early supporters!

Well, I'll admit that after Wasteland 2 I wasn't exactly expecting this level of visuals from InXile.
Even taking the footage with grain of salt and assuming it won't necessarily look like this all the time, you can color me pleasantly surprised.

This video raises more questions than it answers.

Kickstarter game looks better than Fallout 4. Just saying.

Looks absolutly georgeous ! In-engine footage, but sadly, In-Youtube compression that kill tons of details.

It's almost too beautiful because it doesn't even remind me of the game I fell in love with on my old Commodore 64 or even the version I later played on the Amiga.  That said, it would be silly to hold back the graphics for nostalgia's sake and I'm looking forward to seeing where the dev team takes this.

I got chills when I heard the old BT1 intro being quoted.  I spent so much time playing that game as a kid.

Another great looking PC exclusive that's got a legacy behind it and will undoubtedly be unsoiled by console peasantry downgrades and shallow gameplay mechanics for casuals.

That Magic Mouth.  Wow, that brought me straight back to my earliest D&D days around a table.

This looks amazing.  I remember the Magic Mouths giving riddles or hints or just background of what was to come in the earlier Tales.  To see it come about so vividly is quite wonderful.  Also, the music was beautiful.  Keep it coming!

You have managed to make a truly beautiful environment using UE, even by today's standards. I applaud you inXile, I love everything you do. NEVER CHANGE!

The song is called "The Song I sing" sung by Julie Fowlis, but unfortunately I think only Kickstarter backers have it so far. It isn't on Volume 1 or 2 of the game's soundtrack. Given that Fowlis hasn't appeared on Volumes 1 or 2, I worry that they've split :(

I love BardsTail. If nothing else the music as well as the lols of the game.

That's why I kickstarted them.

A talking door ... A FREAKING TALKING DOOR!

Ahhhh the memories.

And also it appears to be free movement outside of combat.

I'm soooo glad I backed this.

Astonishing!

There is a real sense of *place* in this vid - like being in a space with actual history; the promises of SKYRIM fully realized.

Heartiest congratulations to ineXile for reaching your KS!

sitting on the john, thinking to myself, "you can only make one first impression." I can't say I was floored, since I was on the john, but I would have been had I not been there. well done, inxile.
