The song is "The Song I sing" by Julie Fowlis, via Google. There's a page on their kickstarter with the lyrics. Unfortunately, it isn't on Volume 1 or 2 of the soundtrack. In fact, neither volume has any Fowlis songs... so I wonder if they had a falling out :/

Ive never been more lost watching a game trailer. I have absolutely no idea whats going on...

Great to see the return of an old title.  I remember how far ahead of its time Bard's Tale was back in 1985 with its very early version of 3d environments and fully developed character portraits.  And the bard wasn't just a support character class, but a fully developed spellcaster who used tunes as a means of generating his spells.

Would that actually make the bard a "spellsinger" instead of "spellcaster"?

This game was a unique outstanding gem.One of many odd games of ps2 filled with pure joy, humor, story....cannot wait to play provided they pull it off.

Pretty chill choice of soundtrack! Was it made for the game or is it from somewhere else?

Proper name? Vision for game maybe? (Vision Gameplay?) We can assume that makers of the game will use some of the tricks showed here in actual game - like certain cutscenes, looking around, entrys, openings of doors, talking mouths on wall, boss intros and so on.

The Bard's Tale is all about turnbased combat. If it doesn't have that, then it isn't Bard's Tale. You can post dozens of trailers with cutscenes and shiny graphics, that won't make me buying it. I want to give my Paladin attack orders, I want to cast MIBL, YMCA and REST and do the occasional Party Attack, damnit!

Looks interesting. Keep the music, magical effects and have a decent story/ gameplay and I'd buy.
