I was super fidgety as a kid and constantly rocked my heals side to side. I've rolled my ankle in 4 inch wedges and walked away fine.

As someone who sprained their ankle 4 times in less than 2 years, PT saves lives!! Do these and more!! If you’re not able to go to physical therapy, find stretches like these online and do them daily! I didn’t start PT until my 4th sprained ankle, it’s been almost 2 years and I haven’t had another since! I wish I had started sooner, would’ve saved me a lot of grief

As a dancer, I actually agree that it's necessary to strengthen that part of the foot, I've always practiced this outside of dance, and I think it's necessary to, so when you inevitably fall out into that position (at some point), your feet and ankles can handle it.

I tore the ligament in my ankle a year ago and since then ive rolled them 27 times every time i have not been able yo put ANY weight on my foot for atleast a day. THANK YOU!!!

I’m a dancer who is scrolling and sewing pointe shoes at the same time… I was like: oh ankle stuff, that could be good for me. Then my mind immediately changed into a lecture my ballet teacher gave us about sicklying your feet… 😭😭😭this has been a roller coaster of emotions
