I feel pain in my calves. when I stay there too long, eventhough I get in the squat just fine. Its almost as if my centre of gravity pulls me backwards. I wonder if this is still a strength issue

ooh its the internal rotation exercise i need. ty. deep squats are not hard for me even though i am not very flexible- i learned to do them to fit in in Japan 20 years ago. but yeah the knees want to rotate out and i knew that was weird. i am bowlegged fyi

What do you suggest in the case of a hip replacement? Quads are super weak unfortunately!

You are ignoring a very big factor here which is quite shocking to me. Most people dont have enough dorsiflexion in their ankle preventing them to go deeper in the squat. Whats your reasoning to not even bothering mentioning it?

My left ankle dorsiflexion is worse than my right ankle... therefore it stops me from achieving a perfect asian squat. How can I fix my left ankle impingement?
