Make sure to include the fact that you let the cpu sort of slide in not push.

Thank-you for this public service. I've never had a cpu without legs.

I honestly appreciated how short and to the point this video is.

so it's basically an intel socket now

Though it's irrelevant in the end. I always liked how AMD CPUs look like when installed compared to Intel's boring look. Also the Ryzen logo is cool.

So an AM5 socket is just a LGA socket now. That's nice because I have never been a fan of AMD's previous sockets.

coming from am4 i thought i was putting too much force getting the latch closed. But rode with it. Made me nervous but seems like my 7950x3d is performing well.

Right as I speak it seems the amount of pressure is normal but man that is makeing me sweat by like the 20 Ibs you have to push down 😅

I know amd did it first but Im so used to intel sockets with pins in the motherboard that I can't help but think about Itel's LGA

I’ve never installed CPU’s with the socket cover on. I always remove that and throw it away 😂.

What the purpose of the cover other than protecting from dust?

I was so scared when I put my processor into my computer. This is my first AM5 and when I first looked, I for some reason thought the pins were pointing upright and thought it was a little weird tha they looked that way and when I put the cpu in and had to apply all that pressure, I thought I bent the pins, then realized they're naturally bending inwards towards the center. Had a semi-heart attack

Easier method: the text on the cpu should be upright. Explanation done

So there are no pins? So I don't have to make sure it all slides in? Just place it down and it's good?

Is it only me that amd 7000 series got weird ihs?

I wish someone had told me one 8-pin isn't enough for CPUs of the 7900x kind 😀🤡 I spent whole day scratching my head why the stinkin mobo doesn't wanna "recognize" the stinkin CPU! (Yh, my first build.)
