I love how he stoped saying “acolytes in the force” for his intros lmao

The stories you talked about makes Darth Plagueis sound like those old Chuck Norris jokes.

Anytime you're compared to Vitiate, you know you're dealing with real power.

Tenebrous and Plagueis were one the most interesting sith in the lore. Their view points, abilities, and their roles in society.

You know, guys, we all know this, that if Darth Plagueis the Wise was not sick or was not drunk, he could have defeated and killed Palpatine alone, all by himself. He trained him, and he used a dirty tactic to kill him.

No doubt he is so powerful he was one of the few people Palpatine actually feared. By attacking him in his sleep by surprise was proof enough how terrifyingly strong this guy really was. Still a force to be reckon with

I need to read the Darth Plagueis book.

To be honest, I never gave much credit to Plagueis or Tenebrus. I always had that oversimplification in my head that he was "just" the master of Sidious. The recent videos about him really changed my views on him.

This is an absolute gamechanging video. I will say, the showrunner for the Acolyte said what's in store for Qimir and Osha in terms of Plagueis seeing everything in the background. They don't stand a snowball's chance.

yes. we've needed more Darth Plaguies since 2005. i never leaned forward in my seat more than when Plagueis was mentioned in Revenge Of The Sith. another Sith?!!! i was beyond intrigued. the novel is excellent and yes tells the entirety of his story, but, it is the in between that has soo much potential.

If we want to get into his potential, Plagueis was on the verge of Godhood:
Plagueis was litterally said to be capable of any power during-
Chapter 24 pg 283
Of the Darth Plagueis novel.
And following nearby context they directly list, Flight, becoming invisible, and Teleportation acrost space and time just beforehand (when Plagueis was a student of Vanamis before realizing Vanamis was wrong and he was capable of anything) indicating he is capable of these things.

Which alongside further context of things like-
Chapter 5 pg 61–62
And
Chapter 13 Pg 164
Directly indicates he became capable of "any power" even with knowledge of the ancient sith "Force supernova" that could destroy entire stars, and Nihilus consuming entire planets. 😂

And this is all backed up by him legit reaching out to impact all beings in existence at once using his power, and scaring away the force itself with them describing it "-as if it was in flight from him." during Darth Plagueis Novel Chapter 24 pg 283–284
^
Which is comparable in scope to stuff Abeloth did (as in primarily Plagueis and Abeloth are the only ones who were said to have sent the force running from my knowledge LOL).

And this is the same Novel that indicates the celestials merged with the force btw as seen in Chapter 15 pg 184.
So Plagueis being capable of this without the Force Dyad, BY HIMSELF is insane In scope and almost “force celestial”-like.

And in the Darth Plagueis Novel Prologue they'd describe his death as shaking the stars themselves across the galaxy further backing up these levels of power.

In fact… Across the Novel in Chapter 29 title and events. Aswell as the Dark-Side beckoning Sidious to slay his master in the Darth Plagueis Novel Prologue (where his death is shown), just to “annoint” Sidious afterwards as if Sidious did something good.

Suggests the Force itself, who is in a sense God for this verse, had to step in itself to finish Plagueis off. Which in this context included the Dark-Side stepping in to convince Palpatine to murder Plagueis.

Conclusion:
It seems Plagueis was on the verge of Godhood via bruteforce.
So the Force itself orchestrated his murder.

Bro got DM banned by the Force. 😂
And Plagueis is the only instance of this occurring IIRC.

Plagueis: *Exists and terrifies the force*

The Force: “Fuck that guy in particular”
Soon after: *The Force makes Anakin to counter Palpatine, and then steps in to orchestrate Plagueis's murder*

This isn't terribly shocking to me. Palpatine needed a passed out drunk master to kill him afterall.

Remember Palpatine killed Plagueis in his sleep. He didn't had enough courage to face him normally.

It’s a Sith legend. Darth Plagueis was a Dark Lord Of The Sith

We need more of Him. I believe he could be Chosen of The Sith, not the Emperor

All it takes is for one moment and all that power is gone

Somethings people need to get straight: 1) Sidious didn't plan on killing Plagueis that night. He didn't get him drunk on purpose. They were actually celebrating. Sidious in fact, was leaving the apartment, grabbing his cloak when a shiver ran down his spine as the Dark Side spoke to him. Only then, without planning did he resolve to kill him. 2) This mirrors Plagueis' own assassination of his master Tenebrous. He had not planned to kill him. But the gas explosion in the cavern offered him a chance and he took it. 3) At the time of TPM when Sidious killed Plagueis he was certainly not more powerful than his master. At the time Plagueis reckoned Dooku was as powerful as Sidious, and a better duelist. It is only after Sidious kills Plagueis that he grows in power considerably. However, by ROTS Sidious was more powerful than Plagueis had been, though not as knowledgeable. 4) Vader crippled as he was, was not at Plagueis' level, though was probably a better duelist.

Man, all of Plagueis' feats would make him a good challenge for King Piccolo if he was in Dragon Ball.
