The worst thing about Darth Tenebrous: He never told his apprentice the Tragedy of Darth Plagueis the Wise.

Darth Tenebrous is a character thats growing on me not only because I like the Bith Species in general but he sounds like one of the Smartest Sith lords that ever existed, All others were warriors and combatants whereas Tenebrous was more of a Evil Scientist which I find more interesting

I like how neither Plagueis nor Tenebrous really respected lightsabers, but Tenebrous still enjoyed a duel. I imagine a saber battle is a great way to let oneself slip into the dark side, it's violent, it puts strain on the physical form, and it's extremely dangerous. All good things for sinking oneself deeper into the darkside of the force. It was one of Starkiller's, essentially, meditation methods, typically enjoying his spars with his droid Proxy.

The Darth Plagueis novel is so good, I'm honestly glad Disney didn't make it into a movie. They would butcher it in the blink of an eye.

Love to think that Tenebrous and Vader could have bonded over starship design.

It's actually sad that the Sith only ruled for 20ish years after thousands of years of planning. 😢😢😢

Dude pulled a Twilight Zone on himself, wanted immortality, got it and instantly regretted it

I liked this era of the Sith for their hypocrisy and weakness of ideology. These Sith were something akin to old money, who had gained much via inheritance but had no understanding of its value. This, culminating in Palpatine electrocuting his drunk, sleeping master who had still not fully tested his own theories (which Sidious would later need to become immortal, but were now lost to time since he had never truly eclipsed Plagueis in skill beyond political maneuvering.)

Tenebrous after Plagueis turns on him: 'Huh, this is a new feeling, pride in someone else... Unfortunately, it's overshadowed by all this unyielding rage!'

The fact Tenebrous was done in by his own force ability should say all that's needed in the "if he was strong enough to become a Sith Emperor." debate.

I like how Tenebrous and Plagueis are one of few force users with a rationalist outlook on the Force. Most Force users, even the Sith, treat the Force as this mystic, religious phenomenon but Nome and Damask treat the Force in an almost entirely scientific manner. It's a unique perspective and I wish we saw more characters use this angle

I do wonder if the particularly shameful ends of Tenebrous and Plagueis were because the Force itself held them in a special contempt for "demystifying" it. If Palpatine's end was the Force acting in a sort of self-defense, their end was the Force repaying an insult

Tenebrous and his “Maxichlorians” kinda remind me of Voldemort and his use age of horocruxes, and how his ultimate fate left him in limbo and invisible to the rest of the world.

We all know that the real reason is the 3 a.m. saxophone solo which kept Plagues awake for years.

Tenbrous actually set in motion the downfall of the rule of 2 sith by starting to deviate from the banite tradition leading to palpatine who cared nothing for teaching a worthy successor but only in manipulating powerful beings and broken beings he could fool into believing he actually valued as his students. Palptine wanted to start the rule of 1 and that and his inablility to see the light in vader and overestimated how far he could push him.
