It's crazy how almost all conflicts start with just a handful of people wanting to keep or get more control/power

i have always maintained:

if China is hissing and moaning about wanting to "invade" that means it won't invade... (since announcing it means losing the element of surprise)

now if China starts a build up but insist that it is "just an exercise"
that means it's game on time...

The owner of the largest chip manufacturing plant says he'd rather destroy the facility than see CCP ownership of it. WAR is a bad choice for all sides. Both sides should accept the status quo and not provoke war. Even if China thinks it can win, the economic damage would be awful. If they think sanctions hurt Russia, what they would do to China would make the Russian sanctions look like a joke. War is not a good choice in any way.

What Mike Tyson says goes for Wars also. Everyone is tough until they get hit in the mouth.

Kinda crazy how the US bombed Japan twice, but today they're two of the closest allies in the world.

No doubt that, if China approaches the Microchip factories, these would self sabotage beyond repair

I think one of the biggest things never talked about is that China has to keep casaulties down because it is likely each dead soldier is the end to an entire family lineage due to the one child policy.

Hello. I have a question. Why did you ban this video for viewing in Russia?
I don't think it's very smart to do it this way. You cut off quite a lot of people from information

Japanese Admiral Keiji Shibasaki, commander of the highly-fortified garrison on Betio Island, was reportedly so confident in his position that he claimed it would take one million men 100 years to take control of the atoll. The U.S. Marines took it in three days!

China: if we sink a carrier the US won’t want to go to war!

Japan: We attacked three boats, they dropped the sun on us twice!

"Shock and awe America into surrender" because that definitely worked in the past.

I love how the models for Chinese ships are actually from the US navy

A friend of mine plays civilization on PC. I asked him for a quote of the day. He then said “if your enemy is building on your border, you can probably tell what’s next.” 😅

I thought this was going to be a "what would happen if China invaded Russia" however, I really enjoyed what you put together.

"China would attack us ships with missiles to do as much damage as possible"
*Japan in 1940 has left the chat*

This was extremely informative! Thanks

One big thing u forgot to mention is that Australia would play a major role in the war from committing forces to having the US air force and navy operating out of their bases that the Chinese will have a hard time hitting because of the distance

This glossed over the fact that Japan's "self defence force" is itself *massive*. Yes, using Japanese ports and airbases would be a huge boon for the US, but the JSDF is no slouch. Most importantly, its 40+ destroyers and frigates are all equipped with the US made AEGIS system for missile defence, making them an potent screen against the PLARF.

8:10 Japan tried that with Pearl Harbor. The war did not go well for Japan.

Another thing to remember is that the US military has been at war off and on for the last 70 years, so we have the advantage in not only technology but also practical experience.
