Why is God a Necessary Being?

In this video, we show that God is a Necessary Being. We consider Empirical Necessity, Logical Necessity, Conceptual Necessity, and show that all of these point to God being a Necessary Being.

In a previous video, we established the existence of a First Cause, and now, we take that argument to the next level.

Our reasoning unfolds in a logical sequence:

Proof for the First Cause: We previously demonstrated that it's impossible to cross an infinity, leading to the necessity of a First Cause—an Ontologically Self-Sufficient Entity, and a Volitional Cause, and therefore a MIND. We can call this mind, God.

Proof for Necessary Being: Building upon the First Cause argument, we show that if something exists (and it's evident that the universe and we do), a Necessary Being must exist as a consequence.

Types of Necessity: We explore the concept of necessity, categorizing it into Empirical, Logical, and Conceptual forms.

Empirically Necessary Being: Using empirical evidence, we show that God is an Empirically Necessary Being, based on the undeniable existence of ourselves and the universe.

Logically Necessary Being: We present two logical sequences that establish God as a Logically Necessary Being, emphasizing the compatibility of empirical reality with logic.

Conceptually Necessary Being: We demonstrate that not all conceivable worlds are logically possible, and conclude that a Necessary Being is essential for any possible world to exist.

Can "Literally Nothing" Exist? We engage in a philosophical inquiry into the possibility of "literally nothing" existing, ultimately affirming that Truth, Logic, and concepts necessitate the existence of an ultimate MIND, which we identify as God.
