I was a Christian before and this never made any sense to me. It made sense once i studied other faiths and understood this.

This is the truth for anyone who has done basic research. It’s even openly admitted.

Professor Bart Erhman, one of the world’s best New Testament scholars, teaches a good course on this, and has written a book, on just this subject, “How Jesus Became God.”

BY THE END OF THE CENTURY, some Christians were beginning to think of Jesus as a God equal, or nearly equal, to God the Father. Earlier on, Jesus was thought of as the adopted Son of God, and the Gospel of Mark backs up that view. It was only by the end of the century that many Christians were beginning to believe in Jesus as a fully divine, pre-existing being. And it took a few more centuries still for the Doctrine of the Trinity… Jesus as fully God equal to God the Father… for orthodoxy to completely embrace that doctrine.

Before the end of the first century, most Christians were “Ebionite” Christians, who essentially were like today’s Messianic Jews.

It is my belief that these ideas accumulated more and more after Jesus’ death. There is Biblical evidence to suggest that Jesus never taught he was God, although some passages in John (which is where the “I am” comes from) suggest he did think he was God.
But in the Synoptics…
Jesus, when he teaches how to pray, never ever says, “Pray to me.” Never. It is “Our Father” who art in Heaven, not merely “my Father.” All the peacemakers, he claims, “will be called the sons of god.” Jesus asks, “Why do you call me good? Only one is good, that is, God.” That is a troubling passage that is in all three Synoptics: Mark, Matthew, Luke.
He says the time of the Second Coming “is known to the Father but not the Son.” And so on

It’s a pattern, in which the human being is dragged at gradually.

It’s the same with the polytheist Arab they took righteous people as role model at first and from generation to generation they took them literally as gods.

To be clear, it was the incoorporation of Deus Pater/Dev Pita (Dyaus Patr) and his companion/son using Abrahamic figures. This Dyaus Patr concept was not only bounded by the main Romans (Greeks and Latins), but to all of Indo-European groups, including Celts, Slavs, Norses, Goths, etc., every group has their own version of this Sky Father and his companion/son, even Hinduism, since many basic elements of Hinduism were rooted from the Indo-European ancestral believes. I am from Kashmir, since I am culturally and linguistically also belonged to this Indo-European system, my ancestors also had such belief system and we have oral story that date back to the pre-Hindu era where the Pagan System was more traditional and purer and closer to that Indo-European system, basically all of things around us had their own magical properties and sometimes gendered (because they believe there is god or goddess there). But since 14th century CE, my ancestors have become Muslim until me and my descendants. If you want to see how pre-Hindu Kashmiris worship, you can see the Kafiristanis (pre-Islamic Nuristanis) and Kalash pray.

The bible craziest confusion

If this is not the effects of alchohol and drugs then I don't know what is. The annoynmous author who wrote this wasn't feeling good that's for sure.

Matthew 22:44

44 "'The Lord said to my Lord, Sit at my right hand, until I put your enemies under your feet'?

So God tells himself "come sit beside me"

This is weed bro this is drugs.

It doesn't stop there.
The lord said to my lord.
How many lords you got ?
Christians:- one lord.
David was speaking of the Messiah. When David wrote, “The LORD says to my Lord, ” he distinctly said that the Messiah (or the Christ) was his lord.

I'm done with this planet I'm leaving.

we have very early new testament manuscripts and church father quotes that can make the new testament over again and again. This early new testament goes against the Islamic narrative that he wasn’t God and he didn’t die on the cross.

They did it with the Egyptian religion- there are surviving idols that are dressed in Roman garb, but they have the symbols and other indicators of an Egyptian idol. They even would combine the names of thee Roman version of the idol with the Egyptian.

When you are Pagan for many years (never Christian)- you see these things more clearly.
You also see the political inspirations for the ebbs and flows of the religion and the mythology that comes out as a result.

You see the confusion.

Alhamdulilah for Islam.
