I"m a 68 yr old man---I'm disabled --but I wanted to do something with my hands---you have been a great help. This is a very good video. Thank you.

Googled "How to Knit" while in the wool section at a craft store. (Was having Christmas present crisis.) Bought the supplies, came home and watched this video. 6 people on my list got handmade scarves for Christmas! Thanks for a really great tutorial!

This was the first video I followed when I first attempted a scarf. Now I’m proud to say I am an intermediate level knitter! Crazy how time flies

This is the BEST knitting tutorial I've ever come across. I've watched all those beginner videos from experts but theirs are all confusing and wayyy too fast. Thanks so much for posting this! btw I luv your accent and your voice is very soothing :)

I'm not a beginner, but I think you ladies and gents need more videos like this, or in similar, fashion. Not that the ones without anyone speaking are hard to grasp, but it helps people engage more in my honest opinion. even if it's a short video to learn how to do a stitch. Maybe even have brief videos of someone talking about a particular line of yarn from your store.
Wool and the Gang has a big following, but I would like to see you guys bring that same energy to your videos just like you do with your site and social media.

I agree with Johnny. I also am disabled but knitting is my constant companion. Thank God.

This video really has me thinking I can make a scarf. I'm think I'm going to attempt a trip to Michaels tomorrow morning. 😂

This is the best basic knitting tutorial I have come across. I am an avid crocheter who has been putting away learning knitting for close to 5 years, only owing to the lack of understanding of the method. Am glad to have given this a try! Thank you so much for the wonderful video.

This tutorials taught me when I was an absolute beginner. But, when I grew in my knowledge I learned that we have to slip the first stitch in the row instead of knitting it. So that we can have straight edge... But this is one of my favorite videos.

This is literally the first thing I've ever knitted. I struggled with this cast-on so ended up using one from another video but other than that, this was SO helpful! I ran out of yarn though so in the end, I made my scarf into a cowl (also used another video to learn how to connect the ends).

Wonderful video! The perfect speed and personality that kept me interested start to finish. I've seen several on here, but no one ever uses big needles and chunky yarn. As a beginner, I find it hard to understand what they're doing with small needles and thin yarn. I'm trying this scarf next, and I think I just figured out Christmas presents for this year! 😀

Thank you for going slow and walking us through each step sloooww!!! I searched tons of videos claiming to be "easy" and "beginner" but none were. Thank you thank you! You are giving so many people the chance to start such a wonderful hobby. Keep up the amazing work!

Finally someone who will show the hand pose so detailed, I’m new to knitting as well as a self learner so I would search up online to help myself learn more however those videos where they claim for beginners never show us as detailed as this one, they just tell you the steps and what to avoid instead of actually teacher us by pose, you’re a life saver :D
