Brad, I would appreciate your two. My GF left me 5 days ago after 8 months, and NC since. Equally good times and bad times because my kiddo's mama tried to ruin us, and it stressed us both out. She is also at a different stage of life and will move to the other side of the country for school in August. She would say we will marry someday and be together forever. She said she could not handle everything and was weak, and we both deserved better. She also said she didn't know if she was making a mistake and didn't know what the future holds. She also kissed me, was intimate, and said she loved me over and over and nurtured me with physical affection the night she broke up. I know now I should have been more empathetic for her staying with me as long as she did. I was wrong in being emotionally distant when I felt she crossed my boundaries, and I also got mad at her when she stayed out late on a school trip and didn't call me. She would also expect me to communicate, just a mutual respect thing when in a serious relationship.

I love her and didn't correctly apologize for getting mad at her. I need to clear the slate because of my behavior before returning to NC??

Immediately after the breakup I went NC. I just reached out when I was in town at about 75 days of NC. We were long distance (6 hours). I said nice things and they told me they are having a hard time. We shared tears together on the phone. But they wouldn’t meet up and felt overwhelmed and needed to get off the phone eventually. But yet called me to make sure I got home safely later that day? I hope I’m doing this right. I did share that I love them. Maybe I gave more of my heart up than was right but I’m settled that this openness is who I am and I’m worthy of being love just as I am.

I was planning my wedding with my fiancé when he just decided one day that we see different futures and left after 3 beautiful years together. When he left, he told me he thought about it for months… but got to the point that he no longer sees a future with me completely out of the blue for me.

I went from talking to and seeing my best friend for 3 years to essentially never talking to him again which was a month ago. My world was totally rocked.

I kept myself busy, I STOPED calling, caring for him, instead I start loving myself, I became happier. He saw it and likes to get back together, even admitted how badly he treated me but im not risking my my heart again. No way! Block!

And you are right, I deleted everything that has something to do with him. I healed easily. I didnt memorize his phone number, deletes his number ony phone and change mine. This way, we both fully lost way to contact each other. I love it! Coz i admit it was hard at the beginning but we have to remind ourselves that we are worthy of something more.

I made the mistake of believing that she was different, and that by talking and staying in contact, I could win her back. The signs were all there though, the cold, emotionless replies, refusal to reciprocate in any sexual texts or to meet up, but I still kept talking with her until it was so obvious she had no feelings left for me that I finally stopped texting her.

All I did was help her wean herself off of me and officially lose any attraction she still had for me. I should have immediately gone no contact the moment she told me she met someone else. Instead, I made is as easy as possible for her to move on, and as hard as possible for me to do so.

Never, ever think that she's different guys. Because she never is. Every girl is capable of suddenly losing interest for you if she meets the right guy.
