I’m Eritrean but we basically eat the same food as Ethiopians. I’m so glad you liked the food! It’s actually pretty good food if you want to build your spice tolerance. A lot of the food is spicy even the breakfast but there is different options.

I’m Moroccan so I grew up eating certain dishes with hands and bread but I never noticed how diff and harder it looks for people to scoop up food with bread if they’re not used to eating that way lol I bet you don’t want to see moroccans using chop sticks though

If you're ever in Portland, Maine, there's an excellent Ethiopian restaurant called Red Sea Restaurant. It's a little family-owned place, and they do a vegetarian or meat sampler platter that are both amazing and super reasonably priced.

You should go to Little Ethiopia in LA and eat at Merkato if you have the chance. They have a store where they sell spices so maybe you can bring some berbere or mitmita with you.

I am Ethiopian and I am very glad you tried our food🥰❤️. I usually see you videos and so I didn’t expect that you would try our food😁. I am so happy you liked it but next time try eating doro wot which is basically chicken stew and it is really the best. We don’t usually make doro wot because it is made on special occasions or holidays and it takes to long to make it and too much ingredients . Thank you Lisa for trying Ethiopian food.❤️

I love Ethiopian cuisine! Both meat and vegetable dishes are great with injera 🤤 Next time, see if the restaurant has a coffee ceremony where they roast and brew coffee in front of you. It's an awesome experience they have at Nile Ethiopian in Orlando, FL.

I really wanna try Injera and Nitter Kibbeh. I've heard Injera is similar to Dosa, a South Indian fermented rice-lentil pancake. I'm also on the lookout for a good Jollof Rice.
