My parents divorced when i was 3. My dad remarried and his wife (my Stepmom) would psychologically and sometimes physically abuse my older sister and i . They often separated us from my mom and my stepmom made my dad believe we're brats . I became depressed at 9 years old and i finally called my mum at 13years and told her what had been happening . Things are still being solved but i learnt that sometimes its not always your fault and things became better. I am stronger and dont let her words get to my head .❤

What I learnt from this video:)


1. The reason why parents want us to become a doctor is because they want us to have money, to have status, and to be happy
2. Instead of telling them your goal, show them your results. Work hard to fulfil their wants and then show them the results
3. Gain their respect. Prove to them and yourself that you’re able to work hard and be disciplined.

Rmb that this only boost your chances of your parents supporting your dreams, it doesn’t gauruntee it. Still try tho;)

Yooo I’ve been doing this subconsciously the whole time 😂
My mom’s like “do what you love” but when I found something I loved “No. That doesn’t make any money”
So then I found something I love _that also_ makes money and “that’s too unstable and you can’t succeed at that long-term”

So I decided to just shut up & doit in, and now I’m getting consistently profitable, but I’m also not gonna tell her I’m profitable until I’m *truly and undeniably profitable* so she can’t shut me down 😗👍 maybe it’ll be a full time career, maybe just a hobby - u gotta be okay with not knowing, and just appreciate the experience and fun of what you’re doin

I want to do something in my life.I had big dreams in my life.This year i got admitted in a public university .I wanted to pursue my education somewhere far from my home, so i can learn to be independent .But my parents dismissed this without a single thought.My dad told me that he wouldn’t allow me there even if i got the chance to get admitted.From this year, I started tuition to make extra money on the side . You know just to buy this and that.But my dad even refused that.Even if he himself has all kinds of bills thats due .I really detest their misogynistic views it makes me hate my life

And they wouldn’t even give me a chance to become self sufficient
