Since sleep is pretty the number one after training and eating, I would drop any coffein. It makes your sleep and that means your regeneration and a result out of it your stress level worse.

It will depend on what you want to achieve. In my case if I wanted to increase volume, I'm taking mass gainer 500 up to 1000 calories in addition what you eat per day (plus 20 to 40 g of protein for each coup, 2 in total) + Creatine. The results are amazing. Summarizing: mass gainer between breakfast and lunch, creatine before training, and mass gainer before sleep. For someone who works from 8 to 5. And remember, muscles grow outside the gym. I mean, take enough rest or day offs.

Drop the preworkout and buy the ingredients separately. Preworkouts contain a lot of additives and artificial sweeteners. They’re also overpriced, and not properly dosed a lot of the time. I recommend caffeine(energy boost/focus), beta alanine(fights fatigue and aids recovery), creatine(fuels the muscles/fights fatigue), acetyl L-Carnitine(aids in fat burning/mental focus) and a thermogenic like synephrine(boosts metabolism). If your budget is limited replace pre workout with multi vitamin and fish oil instead drink black coffee before workout

I also like to take some magnesium pills before every workout to satiate my muscles before heavy lifts ESPECIALLY on leg days it prevents even slight cramps.

Coffee is life! Creatine is great for endurance athletes as well, if I remember correctly, it aids in ATP synthesis. But the forth one for me is heavy metal 😎🤘🏻

I have AFib so I cannot have caffeine because it is make my heart race which may get up to 160 BPM. Just friendly info.

I use Kratom as a pre workout. Absolutely insane how good it feels. And for me it lasts for over 3-4 hours

Take it from a guy with gut issues and has had to do a lot of research to get it correct. All three supplements are actually bad for your body. Whey protein is not easy to digest. Its processed. You’re better off eating natural protein like chicken, fish, etc. you don’t need caffeine. What you need to do is not eat sugar sweets and take bread from your meal. Your body will recover a faster and use some sort of sport to warm up. I get a much better workout when I warmup with sports which get my blood pumping. It also helps me get in better conditioning which helps recovery as well along with taking fat off.

Only way I would be able to take pre-workout is in the morning. Otherwise I won’t sleep, which sucks because I like taking it :(
