Pay close attention to the section on AI - the place we are at now in 2023 and the fact that this is a conversation between Sam (now CEO OpenAI) and Elon (Founder and now disowned OpenAI) is remarkable

My key takeaways are:
* Your ideas need not change the world to be good!
*
Top things I would work on if I was in my 20's: ethical AI, something in the domain of genetics, having a high bandwidth interface with the brain
*
Estimating if you would be useful: ("utility delta of the product you're building or the difference a product makes in someone's life" x "how many people it would effect")
*
It's ok to feel fearful of the probability of something working or not and but acceptance of it diminishes it to some degree!
*
Merging neural link and the digital extension of ourselves along with the democratization of AI would be the best way to go!

19:15 It's sad that no one appreciated Elon's lighthearted humor and ambition.

Elon is telling Sam that AI is probably going to have the largest impact on humanity and and you can see Sam nodding: "OK, I'll work on that then". History in the making for all to see. Wow.

Elon seem very sacrificial; ready to sacrifice money, time and effort. His appeared humbleness and genuiness makes him different from other billionaires and entrepreunurs. We need more ppl like him and not the celebrity kinds.

I want tons of money but I don't know what I would spend it on in a actually meaningful way. It's better that people like Elon Musk Have the most money

This is fascinating to watch in hindsight. History tends to get abstracted down to simple headlines, but this is like getting a glimpse into the actual human dynamic between two very influential people at two very different points in their careers. Love it!
