If SF has spent billions without any impact, then the money has been MISspent.

1.1 billion spent in 1 year in San Francisco on homeless, 8, 000 homeless in the city, that's $138k/homeless person...what am I missing here?

Look at the salaries of the people “fixing” the homeless problem.

Jesus i thought her takes in an earlier video but this segment blows it out of the water. Holy cow this is right up there with "theyre stealing cars to drive to their jobs". So embarassing

I`m an American living in Cape Town. I live in an affluent area but met a man sleeping on the sidewalk the other day. I had a 10 minute wait for my Uber so I sat with him to chat and tried to understand why he was living on the sidewalk. He was honest and said he has a home to go home to but hates his wife and feels free and loves the freedom of street life. He said I am here by choice.

I'm in Australia. Spent 21 years doing homeless outreach in Melbourne. She doesn't understand the basic complex variables involved in regards to the reasons people live on the streets.

Before FB, Paypal, Instagram, and Tic Tok, there was still Apple, HP, and Cisco. The affordability of San Fran hasn't been within reach of someone in the lower middle class or below, for many more decades than the last two. Blaming homelessness on Tech is just beyond logic when it wasn't Tech who put in major limiting regulations that made new construction nearly impossible in the 90s, 2000s, and 2010s. It wasn't tech who made energy, utility, and food prices cost more in California than anywhere else in the Nation when California is blessed with oil, natural gas, wind, solar, geothermal, tidal, and just about every other type of energy source known, is blessed with one of, if not the top food producing soil in the US, is blessed with abundant water resources throughout the Sierras and the Pacific Ocean, and yet have regulated themselves out of being able to effectively tap these resources to be the best place in the US instead of the last place. When you make everything in your State cost more, having nothing to do with Tech, and everything to do with ignorant voters, you get issues with poverty that are beyond that of the avg community.

The banks failed because the gov't raised rates so quickly. I don't know how you connect that to rich people's pet projects. It's fun that she thinks she is right because Robbie hasn't interviewed all the homeless. She has?

As someone who lives near SF and have spent a good deal of time there talking to homeless people I can say for a fact that that a good amount of the homeless in SF prefer it, some ive talked to have moved there specifically to be homeless

The homeless industry has made some people very, very rich.

Jessica needs to listen to RFK discuss homelessness. It is a question of mental illness for the majority of longer term homeless people. Yes, sometimes circumstances make someone homeless, but those people use the programs and get back on their feet.

She does not want to fix the problem. She wants to throw a ton of money at promoting / supporting their addiction related behavior.

I love how Jessica said there is a lot of misinformation, when in actuality there are different opinions around the issue.

I lived in SF from 1982 too 1995 when you could live on $ 7.25 working 40 hrs aweek . From 1988 to 1995, I had a comfortable small apt, my rent was $450 a month and the cost of food was responsible . Then in 1994 -95 Big tec moved to SF and my rent shot up overnight to $ 1, 200 a month, I couldn't afford to live in SF anylonger and Moved to Portland Oregon. Portland was still reasonable, and didn't have the Violence that they are suffering from now !!!. But soon all that started to change when Wealthy Tec and LGBTQS started to move in from SF, now look at Portland the Leftist Progressive Mafia has taken over 😮 It's Crazy 🤪, where does 95% of the population go from here ???.

Everyone with limited funds has a loud voice about how the wealthy should spend their money.

Why didn’t Elon go all in for RFK Jr? He got our hopes up!! I start to think EVERYONE is too beholden to their business partners to do the right thing at the end of the day 😢 On another note… can we please stop having these multibillion dollar election campaigns?? Wow! We have strayed soooo far from what our founding fathers intended.

Are you guys freaking kidding me! None of the politicians in California or any state almost want to fix the homeless problem because too many nonprofits and businesses pay billions a year in this country of the homeless problem that never gets solved as these charities paid themselves high salaries

It is so nice to the hosts disagree with each other without Bri constantly interrupting to drown out the opposing point.

Hey Jessica what Robbie is saying is 100% true most homeless are addicted to something and staying on the street is where the drugs are

It’s time to be independent. as far as labor market. We need trade schools. We need people to go back to work and have a purpose. 🇺🇸
