InPresence host, Jeffrey Mishlove, PhD, is author of The Roots of Consciousness, Psi Development Systems, and The PK Man. Between 1986 and 2002 he hosted and co-produced the original Thinking Allowed public television series. He is the recipient of the only doctoral diploma in "parapsychology" ever awarded by an accredited university (University of California, Berkeley, 1980). For many years he served as president of the non-profit Intuition Network, an organization dedicated to creating a world in which all people were supported and encouraged in developing inner intuitive abilities.

Here he reflects on the cultivation of psychic gifts and spiritual attainments. He points to the example of Nikola Tesla who managed to transmute the annoying siddhi of super-hearing into an amazing gift of creative invention. He notes that siddhis do not always work out for the best. And, he uses an example from his own life to suggest that one can enjoy siddhis without expecting or craving them. He also maintains that character development promotes the attainment of siddhis.

His smile is contagious, you really feel like he's addressing you when he speaks. I think he's so effective because he's speaking from his heart...

I grabbed, with my bare hand, a pan I’d just pulled from a 450 degree oven. The oven was preheated and worked for 40 minutes. HURT! I had to find keys and tell my neighbor I was going to the emergency room. I sat down to put things together and go to the car. I looked at my hand and there was not a mark on it. I was shocked. The hand wasn’t even red. My first such flagrant experience. I’ve had other “experiences” over the years but don’t give them a huge amount of attention.
My conclusion mirrors yours. I try to be the best person I know how.
I take the astounding experiences as a gentle and kind reminder from someone who loves me .

Dr. M, these shorter videos - incisive, direct, warm, with your unmistakable imprimatur - are fantastic. You're an amazing interviewer, but the expanse of your own wisdom and experience is a tapestry as rich as any of your guests in all the years you've broadcasted. Perhaps an autobiography? Many thanks from a grateful fan

There is no word that can express how grateful I am for what you did and still do Jeffrey, your interviews helped me so much during my sudden spiritual awakening and to understand the „sideeffects“ that come with the spiritual development. God bless you! I would love to spend hours with you sharing my experiences, but since I meanwhile „know“ and experienced the connection between all of us, maybe it is not necessary anymore. His bless you for your efforts! This world/realm will soon change drastically due to all the knowledge that is now available and the Devine will help us! Thank you so much 🙏 !!!

Sometimes getting through the DMV is a siddhi (accomplishment). I reach for the ground instead of the stars and am never disappointed with the miracles I grasp.

Master of good names- yes fortunately I have met few of them when I was young say 12 years). and one of my father friend took me with me to him. The holy man did not uttered single word but he gestured and denoted that his( fathers friend) worries will be over. And it happened in next 15 days, To be frank it will take years ( for me) to reach the state of pureness of heart. The presence of holy men was found electrifying. In one case I could feel some magnetic power even when I was sitting 10 feet away. it brought peace and tranquility to me. Thanks Jef, you don't know what a great service you are doing to mankind. thanks again.

Good talk - and important observation that they can be a source of suffering for the person even if they benefit humanity.

When in my early 30s a voice interrupted my sleep. Initially I was annoyed, then it asked if I wanted to see heaven. I said sure. Next, I felt as though I were travelling upward at an unearthly rate of speed then found myself standing inside a structure, all white with columns on either side of me, no less,  that opened up to a radiantly beautiful vista. I had but a second to take in the view when I was transported back to my bed at the same remarkable speed. This astounded me so I sat up in my bed and lit a cigarette (I no longer smoke) at which time my bedroom door slowly opened on its own (it was not latched shut that I know of). This was the second time I'd had this 'being transported' experience. The first was when I was sixteen. Both incidents secured my faith in The Divine. Like you, Jeff, I have a number and all kinds of these experiences. Also, many of your InPresence videos are oddly sychronistic, like this one,  though I watch them in no order and over stretches of time.

Hi Jeffrey: I had my lifequake revelation in 2014, and I experienced many psychic abilities, like clairvoyance and clairaudience, and super lucid dreams, and some extra abilities that I don't have a name for it. I didn't forget anything, but I also discovered that we "lose" the perception about these abilities because people we know use to "drawn" our bioenergetic vital and psychic energy. Of course, there is much more to know about this kind of thing.

Very inspiring introduction.
Yes, first we need to take two steps in ethics, absolutely!
Pure consciousnesses necessitates a good character for Truth or whatever one may call, to dawn upon us.
I have been into meditation for many years and I have found that the best time of the day to have an intensified meditation, is from 3 am to 4 am; one comes across different experiences during that time, which cannot be explained.
Many thanks Jeff for these videos.

My favorite Tesla story: To stress test a new invention, he visualized it . . . set it running in his mind's eye . . . then came back to the visualization days later to see how the parts had held up.

You have the best power, perpetually happy and inspired, you seem in bliss just interviewing people. I think that's the best one.

I had a master speak to me telepathically, i think he was a sasquatch, well he introduced himself as such. One of the things he explained was certain practices to develop psychic abilities. They include meditation, visualization, breath work and focus on the third eye. Specifically, visualizing white light, consciously breathing it in (very, very slow breathing), and holding it in your body until you are glowing. Once in that state you can shine it to yourself to facilitate psychic healing or shine the light to others you put in focus. That adept sasquatch was communicating through telepathic words, pictures and profound emotions. Good luck on your search for truth..

I have had the experience of a few of them. When my emotions are strongly involved in something. But mostly if I desire to know something enough the means to the answer always comes around.

The next one that's coming your way... oh man, haha. You always put things in my mind that last for a long time there.

I'm 51 and thus a mere kid in your perspective. But I have lived my life in a strange form of naivety and innocense, trying to incorporate that into a strong character and making it work in a pretty busy business life. It has worked pretty well - and I wouldn't change a dot.

I don't know about Siddhic experiences - perhaps. I moved a psy-wheel a year ago with my mind. That must count somewhere. :)
