InPresence 0058: God and the Space-Time Matrix

InPresence host, Jeffrey Mishlove, PhD, is author of The Roots of Consciousness, Psi Development Systems, and The PK Man. Between 1986 and 2002 he hosted and co-produced the original Thinking Allowed public television series. He is the recipient of the only doctoral diploma in "parapsychology" ever awarded by an accredited university (University of California, Berkeley, 1980). For many years he served as president of the non-profit Intuition Network, an organization dedicated to creating a world in which all people were supported and encouraged in developing inner intuitive abilities.

Here he shares his excitement regarding an unpublished manuscript by James P. Driscoll called God In Time. Driscoll, a former New Thinking Allowed guest, has devoped an innovative idea that God is time. Jeffrey explains how this notion can be of value other personally and theologically. It can also help resolve unsolved issues concerning synchronicity and extrasensory perception.

Dr. Mishlove, You beautifully opened up this question to all (I hope high school kids could access and hear this question the way you asked).
It is a tough questions. The believers of one God in tribe A, have killed the believers of God in tribe B, and vise versa.
I must say the way you posed this question is a sign that there might be a merciful God for all after all. 
And Blessed Arthur M. Young's memories and soul. I listen to him often (Your and Mr. Bloch's interviews with him). Thank you very much.

This idea feels a little too simple. But the space time matrix feels like a commodity of grace that the gods distribute that we squander. Thank you for sharing your thoughts and information.

Donald Hoffman states in 2021 that Time does not exist. Is he to believed? I have not been staying current with Hoffman's thinking. Mishlove presents many interesting ideas, here.

Jeffrey Mishlove: I think that maybe we are facing a big social problem in the psychic and spiritual realm: because of usual dissociation about what is "conscious" or "unconscious" in peoples' "mind", then exists groups of peoples who explore psychism of another group of people, and the social network to exploration involve local people we live with and psychic actions from some actors and mainstream communicators, they believe that this is the way "the crhistians" will "dominate the word". They really don't care about consciousness awareness. I did some time ago the Individuation Process like said by Jung, but with lucid dreams and lucid astral projections, I was attacked through psychics and now it seems that other people use my psychic and spiritual identity as if they "stole" dreams...

This theory seems to make God very small. What about the realms outside space and time? What about nonlocality and entanglement? What about black holes? How could God not be a part of that, or in that? If God is space and time, God must also be everything else as well. I think. Maybe I should read that book :)

Time is only a 'stretching out' of the interference. Time is the illusion of the progress of interference from his beginning to his end. God is the potential (0) you are the interference (1).

I've heard somewhere that Goddess Kali's name comes from the word Kala, which means time. Goddess of time, and since space goes along with time, well possibly Goddess of time and space. The word "Matrix" is kinda funny. First syllable "Ma" (Maybe Kali Ma, or whatever Ma of your liking) and "Trix" (or tricks) This reality as Ma's trick, as in "Maya". You do see where I'm going :)

Hegel said the concept of absolute knowledge is time. According to Kojeve he sought the eliminate the transcendental realm by not relating absolute knowledge to eternity or the mind of an alien God but to time and historical development. Absolute spirit seeks to expand self awareness throughout time and space

I believe time (like money) is man-contrived whilst inevitably everything - including time (and money) - is God ‘given’ so as All Is One. God Is Time (and God Is Money). Then it’s our human choices that determine how we ‘spend’ time (and money)

I don't know. It would be nice to know, but until I do, I will have to continue to compare different ideas about it and different methods of attempting to experience it. (I also - when asking myself whether or not I am agnostic - think that one can know at one level and not know at another.)
I don't really see how consciousness could *be* space-time because it seems there is quite a bit of evidence that space-time is a way of expressing or a mode of experiencing. Space-time seems more like a frame of reference for our linguistic-objectivist activities (like discussing the nature of our experiences, or even creating our experiences out of the situation we are transforming through.)
At the moment, I usually think of God as being somehow intimately connected with the vacuum energy or whatever might be before that; but the big problem with that is consciousness: is God awareness itself? If so, in what way is it personal and intimately connected with each of us? Or is it more like a First Principle, the Ultimate Law of Nature, Emptiness itself? The interconnected black hole that exists in every proton, molecule, person, star, universe, etc. (my take on Nassim Haramein's ideas)?

In Hindu Adwait phil, we call GOD is one formless, all pervading. so time and space is part of it. He is called "BRAHM" omnipresent in humans, nonhumans. space, time.He created the whole universe and for that purpose used "Maya" or "Shakti".

Adding to the theme, Bill Donahue has a rather interesting (humoristic & in depth 'little bible' study) interpretation as of what god might be from that perspective (bible). Santo Bonaci, as many others, is as well on the same wave... Maybe an idea to take a look and merge them all. Especially for those in their begin quest of it all?!

Space and time are part of the illusion of this created reality, which is a type of simulation that only exists in what we call the present and it can be manipulated and maintained by the "mainframe" or "God" as it's body, which is connected to all present moments in the existence of this created world. Synchronicities are the melding of minds with this illusionary force that creates this world. We co-create our life stories with this "all knowing" force, that manifests our minds "dark and light horses" into it.
