Merging Excel data to preprinted, un-editable forms can seem impossible until you know how - then it's simple.

This 5 minute tutorial takes a W2 form downloaded from the IRS (US tax bureau) and shows how to prepare it for mail merge. The technique generally applies to MS Word's mail merge but in this video it is tailored to BXL's Merge (free) Add-in. This tutorial then shows how we can merge Excel data, simulating payroll records exported from just about any Payroll system or ERP, to the W2.

This technique works great for HR benefits and policy forms, Medical Forms, Insurance Forms, Government Forms, Legal forms, applicant and new hire onboarding forms, Contracts, invoices, and more.
