There are so many denominations that I was confused I thought that Christ spread his message and every country/race created their own religion to guide themselves to follow what Christ wanted.
Like when my protestant buddy said something about the church and I said “what church?” Because they dont have a church they rent a spot. To me the church is an actual place that we go to on Sunday.

People are debating who was the first religion, but Jesus is not interested in the church. Jesus is searching for those who repent for their sins, believe in him, and follow his commandments. When he comes back to earth, Jesus will judge people, not churches.

Nope. Sorry. Jesus nor Peter started the universal (catholic) church. On the day of Pentecost….Acts 2:38…. That’s when the first church began from the Apostles doctrine. No one said “Catholic church”. Yes Roman Catholicism is old and one of the earliest organized churches. But it was NOT a church started by Jesus.
