There are so many different images of Jesus, but what was he really like? What can we know about him? And how can Catholics say they have a relationship with someone who lived 2,000 years ago?

Interesting that they glossed over the resurrection. The only argument that they made was that there were hundreds of people that are eyewitness accounts. Eyewitness accounts from followers of the man in question 2000 years ago, that were only documented at least 40 years after his death, hardly constitutes as a good argument for it. I am saying this for a specific reason: I fall into a group of many many people that have found the teachings of Jesus to be incredibly beneficial to my life, but have been incredibly frustrated and in turn have at times turned their back on religion completely because Christianity has the unbelievable arrogance of saying that you have to believe in the resurrection in order to believe in Jesus. If they were to get over this resurrection piece and treat it more as a metaphor, there would be so many more people lined up to learn about this man. There was absolutely no proof to it whatsoever other than what is written in the Gospels. So to ask people to just blindly accept something so completely implausible, somethings so absolutely outside the realm of reason and what we Understand about the world in order to be a Christian and follow the teachings of Jesus is incredibly arrogant.

Jesus’ message deserves better then forcing people to believe in zombies to follow along. I love Jesus with all of my heart, but because of their arrogance I absolutely detest Christians.

One correction: Jesus was actually from Nazareth which was part of Galilee - in northern Israel vs Judea. Yes - Jesus was born in Bethlehem which is part of Judea but was considered a Nazarene ! :)

Verses we can easily tell that Jesus is not God

My Father is greater than I’ (John 14:28)

My father is greater than all.’ (John 10:29)

God is not a man nor a son of man’ (Numbers 23: 19)
The Bible often calls Jesus ‘a son of man’ or ‘the son of man.’

I can do nothing by Myself; I judge only as I hear. And My judgment is just, because I do not seek My own will, but the will of Him who sent Me. (John 5:30)

Going a little farther, He fell facedown and prayed, “My Father, if it is possible, let this cup pass from Me. Yet not as I will, but as You will.” (Matthew 26:39)

John 8:40
But as it is, you are seeking to kill Me, a man who has told you the truth, which I heard from God; this Abraham did not do.

john 20 :17

But will God really dwell on earth with humans? The heavens, even the highest heavens, cannot contain you. How much less this temple I have built! 2 Chronicles 6: 18

By all these verses we can easily tell that Jesus is not God nor the son of God It is clear.., .

2 Cor 11:4 reveals That there is MORE THAN ONE Jesus!. There is the Jesus of the gospels, the one Jesus early, Ist century disciples of Jesus preached as outlined in the first three gospels & epistles. Then there is the 'Jesus' firstly of the Greek philosopher 'chuch fathers' who were joined and then lead by Emperor Constantine! ( This was the Jesus he made a 'God' to lead his Roman armies into battle!). One is TRUE, the other FALSE! Surely the sincere seeker of truth will knw which one I refer to is the Jesus of the bible!
