I adopted a carnivore diet and fixed my sleep issues, depression, anxiety and as a result of cutting out carbohydrates my blood glucose is back down where it should be.
So now when i wake up, i actually feel well rested and can spring out of bed at the crack of dawn, something i've been struggling with for 18 years.
To people struggling with sleep. Change your diet, reduce the carbs, fruit and everything that contains sugar. Elevated blood glucose is a major factor when it comes to feeling lethargic.

Not exactly food but I use "wild crafted" reishi mushroom in dual extract. Suppliments of reishi can be found everywhere but I am NOT recommending that as I know nothing about them. I forage wild ganoderma tsugae. Our North American native reishi. I make a dual extract ( which I do sell) and take a little before bed and I sleep like a baby. If anyone wants to give it a try lmk or get some mushrooms and make your own tea or tincture or dual extract. It really works and also has many other benefits. Please do some research, reishi, chaga, lionsmane, turkeytail mushrooms.

What you failed to mention is that both Keewee and tart cherry are diuretics. I took your advice, ate them before bed. Two nights in a row, and I was up peeing all night.

Regarding fruit consumption before bed, wouldn’t that risk elevating blood sugar, and be contraindicated to people who already have high blood sugar?
