I love this film from my childhood, the whole trilogy plus Hilary Swank in The Next Karake Kid. Mr. MIYAKI was a legend, I really miss him, having never known him but he was a big part of my childhood. They don't make films like this anymore. Gone but never forgotten Pat Morita. 💔

Loved this movie so much about as much as the original…..Shocking for all the ppl that think this wasn’t as good. Maybe the story wasn’t quite on the level as KK but I just loved the Miyagi backstory and delving into his past. Ahhhh and let’s not forget about Kumiko probably my first film crush 😻 ❤️ seeing as I was probably 7 or 8 when I first saw this being as I was only 5 years old when Karate Kid II released in theaters. She was amazing in this well for her big screen debut. Also want to give an applause to that young girl Daniel saved during storm wow what a performance! 👏
