Who would have thought that 40 years later these guys would be singing eye of a Tiger with Johnny Lawrence in a limo driven by Mike Barnes.

It’s crazy how Chozen goes from a big time psychopath in Karate Kid to a goofy and wise sensei in Cobra Kai.

Very nice of them to speak entirely in English for Daniel's benefit. The Japanese (Okinawans) are so polite.

Miyagi: You could've killed him, couldn't you?
Daniel: Yes Mr. Miyagi.
Miyagi: Why didn't you then?
Daniel: Because Mr. Miyagi, he'll help me take down Cobra Kai in S5.

“This not tournament Daniel-San, this for real”. One of my very favourite quotes from the K.Kid trilogy!

it's a good thing Daniel-san learned the ancient japanese technique of beating someone like they owe you money

I fell in love with Kumiko...not because she was pretty, or danced...but because she legit tried to strangle that dude.

Who would have thought these two-dimensional, 80's characters would eventually be resurrected, fleshed out, given backstories, families, history, friendships and feuds some 30 years later in a show that has become just about the best thing on TV?

I love how it's visually shown to us that Chozen is more powerful than Johnny with when Daniel tries to use the Crane Kick against Chozen but fails.

I would pay 10, 000 dollars to watch Mr Miyagi explain to Daniel's mom that her son was killed in a karate death match.

I like how Chozen redeems himself and becomes a better man.

Daniel's mother: how was your trip?
Daniel: It was great, I got into a death match while Mr Miyagi watched.

Daniel: “Live or die, man?”
Chozen: “Live.”
Daniel: “WRONG.” [chops neck]

Daniel apologizes to Chozen even though he LITERALLY did nothing wrong. What a nice kid.

Chozen’s arc was one of the best in cobra Kai series he went from being an arrogant, mad, psychopath to one of the most wise sensei in the Cobra Kai series!

Just remember, we would’ve never seen how Chozen had his redemption story or Daniel be able to save himself against Kreese if Miguel’s grandma didn’t get diarrhea
