I ended up installing Nextcloud through Snap. One simple command installed everything. However, I noticed the command in the docs don't always match up. For example, changing config settings using "nextcloud.occ" versus "snap set ...". And I'm not sure if the Nextcloud Snap backup utility can be trusted.
What are your thoughts on the different installation methods (manual vs Snap)?

hey mate when setting permissions "sudo chmod 775 -R /var/www/nextcloud/" no such file or directory was found. i back tracked a bit and im not sure where ive got wrong.

After following your instructions I get stuck with command prompt. When I add the ssh command it comes back saying ssh: connect to host 10.0.2.15 port 22: Connection timed out. I ended up changing my port and it still won't connect. What am I doing wrong. Thanks.

Wonderful video instruction Mr. Nerdy. If you only use the nextcloud instace on a virtual machine or use an old computer as a server on your LAN, do yo have to install an ssl certificate? I just want to use nextcloud @ home. No need to connect from the outside world. Thanks so much for the video.
