TY for this. I didn't even have to go to the point of formatting, as getting rid of the page file in my drive removed the issue of overly allocated space. Others may wish to format as they require, of course.

Yaaaay. Tnks. This works for me. My HDD hard drive was giving issues for weeks. I removed it and plug it to external adapter and tried ur method. But i changed the File system to exFAT instead of NTFS (Default) and it worked... this is 2024.
