I spent over 2 hours trying to fix a corrupted usb flash drive. I then found this video and it works perfectly. Thank you, you are a genius !!

Thank you this worked, you just forgot to add the part where you have to "assign a letter for the drive" but it fixed a very wonky usb! thanks

If you have issues formatting a USB, even if you have one that says its locked, if you have an Android tablet with a USB port, plug it in and format it using Android, worked for me on 2 USB sticks

when my usb is connected it doesn't show diskpart
but when it is disconnected diskpart is shown

I can get into cmd but it doesnt show DISKPART> just the first three lines

It hang till "create partition primary" and doesn't work.

when i type: create partition primary it says no usable free extent could be found. what should i do?

It is showing as no usable free extent could be found. It may be that there is insufficient free space to create partition
