The important thing about breakfast is that its the first food you will ingest after waking up, that means its the first source of energy you'll get. Its not really a problem if you dont have breakfast (although you may feel less energetic) but what to eat as breakfast, since the body responds different to different sources of energy

Eating in the morning has always made me feel sick. I eat when I'm hungry. Simple. Designated meal times are arbitrary.

It blows my mind how poorly diet/nutrition is understood in the U.S. I'll make it simple, skip breakfast and go light on carbs throughout the afternoon and evening (just limit carbs in general and cut out sugar completely) and your weight will improve and your blood work will improve. Give it two months and you will be astonished at how your body has transformed.

Technically when you eat after a fast, it's called breakfast... So it's impossible to skip breakfast, unless you want to die.

Breakfast is kinda impossible for me, with the fact that I wake up at around 1Pm. Unless eating at 2am is counted as breakfast.

If you have anxiety or high-stress levels, you definitely should eat breakfast, a big breakfast, every day. It will help with your stress response throughout the day.

I didn't eat breakfast on a regular basis for over a decade. I felt fine. Then one day about a year ago, the time I had to be into work moved up 30 minutes. Even though I wanted to sleep a little more, I kept waking up anyway, so I decided to start eating a light breakfast. It took about a month for me to connect eating breakfast to the fact that I was having more really "good days" than usual.I can only speculate about how much better the quality of my life would have been before if I had been following up my 6 to 8 hours of sleep with a good breakfast.
