I don't know what effect school breakfast programs have overall, but it's definitely easier to pay attention in class when you're not thinking about how hungry you are.

The trouble with this is that there is so much variability in what people can eat for breakfast, ranging from the protein-heavy (eggs, especially with meat and/or cheese) to the carbohydrate-heavy (pancakes and syrup; sugary cereal; pastries), from the light (fat-free yogurt with fruit; a hard-boiled egg) to the heavily caloric (most any full-size breakfast meal at a restaurant), that it's probably hard to reach an overall conclusion about the effects on health measures, occupational/academic performance, or general sense of wellbeing that come simply from whether or not someone consumes breakfast regularly without a more-detailed view about what a typical breakfast for that person looks like.

I wait until I'm actually hungry to eat breakfast. That may not happen until afternoon. I have my coffee (with gelatin and butter) in the morning but hunger doesn't always happen. Not until the previous meals have been processed, at least. I'm not obese at this point, but I have been. I find if I start the day eating, I'll eat all day - THAT leads to obesity. Better to eat when I'm actually hungry and then drop the subject of food until I'm hungry again instead of letting a clock tell me when to eat. This means I weigh at least 80 pounds less than I did when I tried to follow diet plans.

What? 700 calories for breakfast? no wonder they didn't loose weight, that's like 2.5x what I eat for breakfast, that is a huge breakfast.

I havent eaten breakfast in the last year, i dont miss it. If think about it, eating breakfast is just a matter of lifestyle, so its importance depends in each individual person.

Y'all might not receive this often, but y'all deserve it, you have honestly guided me so far and have opened my eyes up to new ideas and possibilities I never imagined possible.
