I’m really glad someone is exposing the electric car industry. If you want to drive an ev that’s fine, but I have a problem with these type of cars being forced on me. I live in a cold climate and an ev would not be feasible, not to mention I also find them very ugly most of the time

The politicians made things much worse with the CAFE standards that stopped the production of large sedans such as the Crown Vic. This resulted in car buyers turning to large SUVs that use more gas than the old full size sedans because fuel economy standards aren't as strict for light trucks.

On the leaking car. We had a Honda CR-V that leaked around the drivers side rear window. We had it in the dealers service department three different times when the said it was the sun roof. It was out of warranty so they said if we paid for the part (sun roof) they would cover the labor cost. It worked for about six months then started leaking again. We traded the car in and did not mention the leak.

Actually the planet needs more co2. The current co2 content of the atmosphere is around 400ppm. Optimum plant production happens at about 1400ppm. The plants are starving and if the co2 content gets much lower the plants will start dying. Then everything else.

To get an idea of the real cost of boring tunnels for the hyperloop transport system look no further than the big dig in Boston. Original estimate, 2.56 billion. Last I checked, a few years ago, the cost was over $22 billion and climbing (ongoing with the constant need for repair and pump stations because of excessive water infiltration).
