I got the 70 piece Pittsburgh set for my older son when he got his first house so he could do minor repairs and put together furniture. They have worked well for the last 3 years. The Doyle demolition screwdrivers are great, I've had them for a year or two and use them when I don't want to mess up my Wera screwdrivers.

Loving the content and seeing other opinions on harbor freight. I definitely get plenty of value there

Those orange and black ones are absolutely horrendous. LOL. SO SOFT! I have the ICON set as well. Overall, quite pleased with them. Just recently got a set of JIS tipped Vessels. In a whole different class. Absolutely amazing.

You need the blue Pittsburgh Bolstered screwdriver set on this list too! Now those are some tough screwdrivers.

I have a Pittsburgh pro red and black set I think 10 pc. 4 slotted, 4 Phillips, 2 torx. I’ve used them here and there. Definitely not the beefiest but I got the 2 pc Doyle demo set and those things are amazing. When I upgrade my other set it will be the bigger Doyle set for sure

i have been using the pittsburg 22 piece set for over 15 years. i used the large phillips head to get honda rotor screws out by hitting it with a 32 oz dead blow. it is used and abused and still works fine. i used to be a professional service technician for those almost 15 years. don't sleep on that set.

I have the 8 piece Pittsburgh Bolstered Screwdriver Set I originally bought as beaters and have also treated them as that but have held but very well while over the past few years working on industry machinery

I'm surprised you didn't cover the Quinn diamond-tipped screwdrivers. I got the Doyle demo set and then the Qjuinn diamond screwdrivers and they were a great combo until I replaced them with the Tekton set I really wanted.

I had the first set you presented and it's a set that you loan out and don't expect them back. I now have over 80 screwdrivers from Pittsburgh, goldblatt, Carlyle, craftsman, wera, (updated)icon and vessel. Vessel fits the best. I like wera, but the laser etching wears out after a while. The craftsman diamond tips are still going strong after 8 years. Lol, I have a screwdriver fetish, but my plier fetish is even worse.

I've got the doyle 6 piece set, very happy with them! Would replace my cheaper green striking pittsburg flatheads in a heartbeat. I like my cheap vessel phillips head screwdrivers though.

I got the Quinn 15-piece set a few months ago on sale because "why not". Very first thing I did with it was use one of the flats as a chisel. Did pretty good, and I feel a lot less bad abusing the crap out of them over my Klein set. Still not sure how I feel about the handles, though; they're very grippy, but they feel strange and a little hollow for my liking.

That being said, Den Of Tools seems to really hate the first set you showcased, but he never goes into detail as to why. I figured, it's a screwdriver, they're kind of hard to get wrong, and it cant ever be too bad to have considering that, with their no-questions Lifetime Warranty they're basically an endlessly replenishing collection of not only screwdrivers but various picks, prybars and chisels for $6

I went with the $10 8 pc red n blue set plus the Quinn 10 in 1. Gets me through what I need for 20 bucks.

I bought the Orange & Black Pittsburgh screwdriver set, first time using them I regretted buying the because of the handles. Then I remembered a saying: You get what you pay for.

Wiha Ezra heavy duty are my favorite screwdrivers. I got a set of Williams shanks. (A couple vessel for the jis), should cover you very well. Wiha and Williams I would say are the two top tier for the price. My extra throw away set is that Doyle for $20 and they feel good to use, still in good shape. The Icon is an easy pass (for me)

Can you list some of the better brands for the Icon price range?

Hello again, Tony
Thank you for another Great Video 👍 Great advice as always. I enjoyed watching tonight's video. I don't have any Harbor Freight screwdrivers to talk about. I do have a mixture of old school Craftsman and Popular Mechanics Screwdrivers for most part Rock. Especially my #2 Philips it was the earliest screwdriver with the gripping teeth and not a coating. There about twenty years old. I didn't think they would last this long. Question for you Tony. You spoke before about having Japanese screwdrivers with the Jis tip. It's come to my attention that it's being recommended to use them in removing Philips Screws? I remember being told not to use them on Philips Screws. Do you know which information is correct? Again thank you 👌

Have a missed it, do they have a decent ratching screwdriver? I've either overlooked it, or they don't offer it. Any of you know?

Quinn screwdrivers are good for the price. The older free set are good for opening paint cans and thats about it
