Thank you so much. I'm 13 and I alsways overthink about one day getting old, dying and missing out and whenever I hink about it, I worry a lot. But this made me stop. Thank you so much, I feel a lot better now.

Dr. Paul is literally a Godsend for me. God led me to these videos when I learned my son has ADD and started researching how I could help him. Thank God, and thank Dr. Paul.

I'm here for this, I'm a single mother of 2. My eldest I had at 16...she was raised w the help of family, and unfortunately, family is who she inclines her ear to. I searched for parenting resources for my youngest to do a better job, and your videos came down my feed on time, so I'm truly thankful. My son is 12 years old and will be entering 9th grade. I consider you and your teaching and others to be a part of our village in raising a child in the way he/she should go 🙏...continued appreciation for this platform.

Hello Dr Paul. Iranian girl here🙋 Thanks for your great videos. Your voice and calm manner of speaking is so relaxing 😊🌷
I'm a Highly Sensitive Person, suffering from a disorder that I think is both similar to anxiety disorder and bipolar disorder (Drs here never gave me an explicit diagnosis. Only tons of medications).
Overthinking+ overanalysing+ a terribly good memory for daily details is my awful signature! It bothers me more than everyone else, and if I'm in a relationship, it annoys that person too.
And it sucks even more, here in Iran, because no one understands me😭 Everyone just says "you're too sensitive, u'll never find a husband n die a spinster"😒

As soon as he said, “all situations are neutral”, I KNEW it was Eckhart Tolle. I’ve learned so much from him…and then forgot it all like high school Spanish. So glad Dr. Paul is reminding me.

Dr. Paul, I recently listened to your podcast with a lady Minister from
the Caribbean who pointed out a healthy perspective on when we think we
are in the worst situation ever in our personal lives. She has a
history of horrific abuse/trauma but overcame it using a few strategies.
One of them is that we are not alone and that there are so many
millions of others that are so worse off and in severe pain. So our
situation may feel like the worst of everyone but it is actually not.
Then she pointed out that what kept her going was nurturing the feeling
of hope.🌈 She found ways to nurture that. She also pointed out that she
survived because she told herself that he situation was temporary and
believed that things would change. There were a few more perspectives
that were helpful. During the pandemic, 😷and now with more variant
strains of covid on the lose all over the world, these vids of this
topic are a regular "go to" to help with the coping. Thank you so much! 💚🇨🇦

The older hippie in me keeps screaming BE HERE NOW and the present day second generation parent grandparent wants to argue with the principal of being in the present moment and letting go of the overthinking about all the changes and challenges of the current times and situations that I am living in! Thank you for helping me re-gear my synapses!!

Dr. Paul, I need to literally and metaphorically pay you! Thinking too much is a huge problem for me as it is for many of us. I've been meditating and it helps but what you said truly helps me even more. Thank so very much! THANK YOU!

3:34 Byron Katie, The Work... she states that we can't and need not stop thinking, but question our thoughts and thereby meet them with greater understanding... because 1. thinking just happens and 2. when we happen to think stressful thoughts again, we will he able to see them from a different angle... love your exercises 👍

This literally just blew me away. I assumed everyone just thinks constantly. I thought this was normal. Always been told I think about things too much. This always confused me, because I assumed this is how we exist. This was like a WOW moment for me. 😅

Timely video regarding our ability to get tied up in cognitive knots! This is also the theme and undercurrent of a recent video I made about parents wrapping their brains around school for their kids this fall. Keep up the fine work! I “think” you’re doing a great job! - your friendly neighborhood psychiatrist
