So now the 80 class is considered a mid-range GPU...

Remember when the new 60 class cards were as powerful as the previous gen 80 class cards? Pepperidge Farms remembers...

Nvidia is completely nerfing the specs of the RTX 50 Series, except for the 5090. That is going to result in poor sales because there is no way consumers will be willing to pay for overpriced, crappy, nerfed GPUs. Nvidia is just wasting their own money by producing this crap that is going to receive nothing but criticism and just sit on shelves. They are not even close to maximising the amount of profit they can make in gaming. Nvidia's gaming segment is worth billions, and it definitely has the potential to grow way bigger. Nvidia treating it like a little side business makes no sense, and it's negatively impacting gamers. This is why we need competition and I am hoping Battlemage and RDNA 4 can at least put some competition in the gaming GPU market in the entry level and midrange segment. Then RDNA 5 and Celestial should hopefully bring some strong competition in the high end and enthusiast class segment.

With NO competition I have a hard time believing these prices will be anywhere near correct. A 5090 TI for $1999? I think closer to $2999, maybe even higher.

You believe the 5060 will be 83% faster than the 4060 - urgently seek a visit to your doctor ... 😂 😂

bro's saying the 5060 will be 80% faster than a 4060 and the 5070 will be 40% faster than the 4070 while the 5060 has GDDR6 VRAM 8GB (from other rumors) and the 5070 seemed to be even more cutted than the 4070 was (also from other rumors)
I truly expect the 5070 to be 20% faster with 12GB and the 5060 around 10% faster with also 8 GB

GDDR7 still not fully produced, No High end AMD cards coming this year, and plenty of 40 series still on the shelf, what’s the rush to launch 50 series?

8:30 the 5060 sounds atleast somewhat reasonable price wise. I hope it performs well.

Seing that the 5080ti will cost atelast 1299 bucks is absolutely insane. Not even speaking of the 5090ti...

remember when Nvideas flagship GPU 980ti cost 649 bucks and the high end model Titan only 999 bucks?

We have now more then doubled all those prices.

I really hope AMD and Intel will release some real bangers to counter that. Nvidea is to strong right now.

1.83x for the 5060! that didn't happen in the greatest era of gaming and now you think Nvidia will do it when AI is everywhere?!!!!

I’m just hoping the 12VHPWR connectors don’t become a problem.

As a 3060Ti owner I am hoping for a noticeable improvement in this gens card!

What about the overheating 12v pwr connection issue? Dual 12v pwr connectors would be the simplest fix.

The reason they don't release the full die, is because of fault rate. They have to allow some room for chips that not all cores perform at spec. The "golden chips" that have all cores functional within spec, if there's enough, will become Ti or Super models

do we have any information updates on improvements being made to the infamous 12VHPWR connector? Or if partner cards will be a reasonable size this coming generation? Aside from pricing those were two big issues this generation. I still can't believe the smaller (reasonably sized) ASUS Proart 4080 card is more expensive than the gigantic asus tuf 4080...can someone explain how that makes sense on shipping? lol...added volume + weight should = added postage cost. But then again maybe Jensen Huang had the answer all along, " The more you buy, the more you save." 😎lol.

Do we really need that many models now? I bet they will saturate the market with more super cards later too.
