RTX 5080 + 29% = 4090
RTX 5070 + 26% = 3090 Ti

And based on this the 5090 will be 45-50% faster than a 5080... great!

Still thinking that if I could get 7900 XTX performance for like 500-600$ with RDNA4, I would not get a 5080 with 30% more for double the price. Games will not get that crazy before the new console Gen. If both series are presented at the same time its good for comparison.

I'm like 90% sure that the prices of RTX 5000 series going to be higher than ever due to AI chips and mining gaining speed again. I decided to go ahead and purchased brand new RTX 4090 for 1500 euros (which is insanely cheap for my country). I just have the feeling the price will be insane and scalpers won't let me buy RTX 50 till next summer
