The government forcing companies to be up front about cancellations and how a customer can go about canceling their services and subscriptions hassle free is a good move. Cause there are to many companies who use scummy tactics to try and slow that process down or wear you out in hopes that you just give up and keep paying the fees instead of trying to cancel.

Fun Fact for those wishing to cancel an Adobe Subscription: If you are looking at a bullshit large cancellation fee, simply switch to a cheaper Subscription, immediately refund it, and you’ll avoid the large cancel fee. (As well as get your money for the subscription switch back a day later.)

Adobe tried to take $104 for trying to cancel my Photoshop subscription, so after spending $10 I avoid that bullshit and got my $10 back a day later. Fuck Adobe.

Unless Emil gets fired from the writing team of Bethesda and they refuse to let Creation Engine go, all of future Bethesda games are going to suck. If you still purchase them and you feel that you got scammed, it's all on you now.

But for those who cannot pay because for reasons being they can't afford anymore or needed to save up, and they're hit with this cancellation fee, then it's a sneaky backstab from adobe, so to speak. However, there is a loophole for a way out, what you do is change your current plan to another - ideally cheaper - plan, which resets the whole contract status. Then you have about 14 days to cancel the plan with no fee according to the contract terms and by the time you cancel, you can also receive your refund in a few business days.

Spread the word to anyone who's faced with this obstacle.

I honestly share your sentiment about Elder Scrolls 6. As much as I am a fan of their games, Bethesda's track record these past 5 years has been really bad, and it worries me that the next Elder Scrolls game will not live up to my expectations. I'm still holding out on a little bit of hope though, in that maybe Bethesda will actually pull through and we'll have an Elder Scrolls game that might rival Skyrim, in terms of popularity and hopefully "replay-ability."

But yeah, at least modders will always be there for us.

On one hand I'm glad Bethesda is taking their time, because we might get an actually polished game. On the other hand, I'm worried that they're taking their time because I don't want the next half a decade of fallout content to be almost exclusively 76 DLC when a majority of people aren't even interested in it anymore.

Dismissing the original two Fallout games, because supposedly 'no one remembers those games' sounds, ironically, exactly like something coming from Bethesda. The generation who still remember them, because they've played them in their young(er) years, are the very people who still have money to burn and who would happily fork out the money for decent remakes.

I also think that a lot of younger gamers would be very interested in those games, considering the success of isometric RPGs.
