Using Proper Technique When Lifting Weights

I see a lot of people, even experienced body builders in the gym using some questionable exercise technique. Hey we all do it from time to time and there can even be a time and a place to use partial range of motion and even some cheated reps. For the most part however, we should really try to practice exercise movements that use full range of motion, without swinging of the body or arms and with full pauses at the top and bottom of the rep.

Like anything in life, we can develop some bad habits so make sure to take a step back and just don't assume you are doing it right. I even suggest using a video camera and record your workouts periodically so you can see how you actually look while working out. It can be an real eye opener for sure but at least it will allow you to make corrections.

Im just through my growth period, and im decently strong for a teen my age, I got a injury on one of my legs and was restricted of movement for a month, so I decided to follow this to avoid loss of strength or gain of weight and it worked, thank you very much.

For the past few months, I feel as though I've been wasting away. I went from 95 pounds to 84 this morning. Wild shit, I haven't even been eating differently.
I'm hoping that eating better and more often, and getting exercise, can help. Never exercise a lot though, so videos like this are very helpful. Thank you.

After watching this video i realized that i was lifting weights wrong for over a year, thats why ive been seeing minimal benefits/gains. Now onwards im not gonna swing my arms when im lifting dumbbells. Thanks sir👍

I like doing 2 and at a time. I go really slow and methodical, really deliberate with my movements. Making sure I squeeze at the top of each rep. And don’t rock. I also puff out my chest and stand really tall controlling the negative

Thanks for another great video packed with tips for us over 40 guys trying to get and stay fit.  I watched this video a few times to motive and remind myself to not cheat and to practice good form when lifting.  Keep posting and I'll keep watching.

Looking fit Man 💪. Thanks for a good form video and tips. I mainly do body weight exercises but want to imply some weights as well. I use weight's for biceps, and now doing chest and shoulders. I grow muscle easily I don't want to be super cut but just more toned. Thanks again
