Starting Crossfit REALLY out of shape

This is a video about my journey from starting Crossfit really out of shape. When i started crossfit i was obese, depressed and hadn't done any kind of fitness in years. I struggled with a lot of the basic movements. I go over my tips on starting crossfit and at the end of the video i show some footage of me at the begining of my journey. Sadly theres none of me within the first month or so (i was very camera shy) but you get to see me between 1 and 3 months in.

This video is so helpful..I started crossfit a month ago and I am 235...I battled with depression and anxiety...since I have started my world has changed and I feel amazing...its all about consistency! I went from the couch to crossfit. I'm still amazed at myself and PROUD of myself which I can't even remember when I was ever was. Proud

Thank you soooo much, this video was God sent. I am diagnosed with insulin resistance and doctor told me to start Crossfit, nothing else will help. I am overweight and unfit so was super scary to sign-up. But your video gave me the push I needed.

I have been doing cross-fit since march this year. I am out of shape as well. so far I've lost 2% body fat and gained 2% skeletal muscle mass. I really enjoy it. It is hard but I'm determined to get into shape

Glad she didn't quit. It's more than fitness. It's about discipline, confidence, inspiring others and living the life you dreamed of ... winning.

So dont quit. We all have excuses. I'm 51 years old, my posture is bad, breathing sucks, I'm lazy, blah, blah, blah, but when I when LOOK OUT!!

Started crossfit 2 weeks ago and I’m loving it! It’s great what you said about using excess weight to your advantage. I have about 12 kg extra on me and no upper body strenght so I am really excited about becoming stronger and changing my body composition more so than losing weight.

I am going to my first session on Wednesday next week and I am so nervous. This has helped me slightly more so about the fact I’m not as skinny as I used to be and know how judgemental people can be. Really just want to be strong and love myself again instead of looking in the mirror and crying all the time lol

Am 43, i used to be a gymnast in my teens, and stopped, and lost all the form, i started 4 years ago, and it has been the best desition ever. all she has said is true, abt starting, and learning, there is no age limit to it. and is really fun how bit by bit you disciver how you can do more and more.

i just started crossfit in june and i mist say it was very daunting as every in there is in shape lmao but once you get over it, it is the most amazing thing and most people in there is very supportive

Great video...ive been using crossfit on and off to supplement my strength training since 2012...for Army, American football, firefighting, rugby, and spartan races...crossfit or functional fitness has always given me an edge over all the others
