Just one of my average days.
My doctor calls it post traumatic stress disorder. It gets worse this time of year, with people lighting off fireworks.
Some miscreant lit off a rather large explosion about 1:30 this morning that rattled my place. I'm a quarter mile off the highway and it rattled my place.
I went from being in bed sound asleep to on the floor in the hallway with a
.44 hand cannon in each fist listening and waiting before I realized it was just fireworks, with the cats all looking at me like I had lost my mind. And while your down there, can you see to cleaning the litter box.

These symptoms sound very much like PTSD (post traumatic stress disorder), also comes with an easy startle response and sometimes sleep paralysis.
