But when she throws the key down the well you can hear it hit water and from what I could see there was no water in the other world meaning it didn’t end in the other world unless the other mother is now somehow leading a new family into her trap from a new location

If thats true I would encased that key in cement and then have it buried in an undisclosed location

I don’t believe this theory because when coralline shut the door on the other mother she had genuine FEAR in her voice screaming “DONT LEAVE ME DONT LEAVE ME! I’ll die without you” it sounded If she really means it.

The only thing is if the Other Mother had her trapped and had access to the key, Why let this game go as far as it did?

Your right coralline through the key in the well but the well leads to the other world which mean’s the key goes back to the bedlam and the bedlam can now unlock the door
