About romantic fantasies: Yes, I used to be anxious and escaped into those fantasies a lot, but recently I have started to view them as a tool for healthy self-regulation. I was m0lested as a kid, then got into relationships with abusive partners so s3x and love are quite muddled up in my head. Fantasies where I am loved, respected, pampered by healthy lovers allow me to gradually and safely unpack my feelings and trauma, explore what I like and don’t like, get back in tune with my body, as well as practice voicing my needs.

Based on my experience, this video is accurate and each fantasy I have fits perfectly into what my personality is.
