Honestly this is the only vid I've seen on how to overcome artist block that is motivating ;w; A lot of artists I've seen similar videos on the topic usually say "oh artist block doesn't exist, you're just being lazy" while you explain how it's usually a mental obstacle that we need to reflect on to overcome it, which is exactly how I feel as sometimes my mental illness "blocks" my creative flow. I've been slowly overcoming my block now that I am reminded that it's valid to feel this way at moments as long as I remember to keep pushing forward to a more positive outcome <3

Out of all of the YouTubers talking about art block, I feel that you describe it the best for me and feel like I can really connect to this. The beginning of the video where you actually talked about what art block really made me go "wow" because nobody else had described art block how you did and described me perfectly when I have art block. I found that most people think of art block as just not being happy with what you're creating but I see it as much more. You got the point across that art block isn't just not feeling happy with what you're creating, it's also not being able to create anything because of fears of not being good enough to you or not how you imagined it. Thank you for making this video it really helped me and I bet will help many others.

This was like the pep talk that I needed! I don't do handicrafts or draw much, and I've been doing it lately just cause I want to do a renovation to my room and make it somewhat Harry Potter-ish but I used to write a lot of stories. So I often get writer's block. It's just the same as artist's block really, you get caught up in laziness or insecurity and stop writing and the circle sometimes ends on its own and other times it never ends unless you pull yourself out of the slump of your mind and push yourself forward. I knew that everyone gets artist's/author's block but watching your video somehow made this fact settle in my mind better :) Have a nice and creative weekend Makoccino!
