I usually grab the bar super uneven then fling it around wildly above my face, it works pretty well for me

I'm 9 years old I am 6'9 in height and I weigh 420 pounds. I can bench 580 lbs with one hand.

Most important form tip: do not move the bar towards the rack on your last rep. Complete the rep, lock out your elbows, THEN go for the re-rack. Only move the bar to/from the rack with locked elbows.

The part about pressing your shoulderblades together is actually sick! I never really felt benchpressing in my chest other than doing it with dumbells and now I do! Thanks for the great info dude!

Thanks for all the technical details and "do not do" tips. I actually had my shoulders out too far and got the pain you mentioned. I'll fix my form next time I go.

Hey Carpenter! We actually tried shooting some footage the other weekend but we REALLY need a third person because there was no one to spot and I didn't wanna get squished attempting a max-out bench (would have made for a great 'fail' video, I guess) They are coming soon though, promise!

My shoulders were always sore until I did the 45* angle. Now I don't have any problems. It might not affect you if you're under 30, but it will when you get older.
