God of War E3 2016 Demo vs Retail PS4 Pro Graphics Comparison

God of War if finally here and without any doubt it's one of the BEST looking games of this generation. Pure masterpiece!
Let's take a look on how the game graphics evolved since its reveal during E3 2016.

It may seem downgraded because the colors are too intense in the final version, which makes it look unrealistic, plus 2016 has better shadows, but when it comes to the tiny details, such as the slight wrinkles on kratos' eyes, 2018 wins.

For those saying lighting downgrade it could be but obviously the light is coming from a different angle so it would not look the same downgraded or not

Different colour palette, but the texture quality is much better on retail. Also further in the game on the beach coasts the lighting is more like the demo, as those areas are going for the same atmosphere as this area in the demo, where as this area in the final release is going for a much more mystical feel and atmosphere.

Playing on original PS4 and the environment looks very iffy to me. Especially in the Alfheim area.
I dont know if the Brightness is correct....who knows.

lighnting downgraded anyone tht says otherwise is dumb u can especially see it in the world serpent footage, it looks very flat now especiallly on kratos skin

The lighting is different, the characters looks the same in quality and the enviroments are more colorful in the retail.

Look at the boys clothing, the fur on his top, flutters in the wind in the demo, it's static in the retail

E3 is better detailed but the new gameplay has better lighting and vibrant colors e3 look like a older game game but New has better color and lighting

the only things which are downgraded is the lighting and the draw distance except that they refined the small details, made the skin more realistic and added things in the enviroment.Its not as much as a downgrade as there is an upgrade

It's a marketing move.
