God of War 2016 vs 2017 vs 2018 Trailer Early Graphics Comparison

Here it is folks . God of War release date set to 20.04.2018 and a brand new gameplay trailer showing gorgeous graphics making this game right now the best looking title on PS4 in my humble opinion. I also noticed that there is one particular scene that we already may have seen during very first video of GoW revealed back in 2016 during E3. Let's compare that scene and check how the game evolved since then.

Did you really use a low resolution picture of Atreus as a comparison? And the game looks as good as it ever did, the sea serpent even has colour and better detail now.

The World Serpent scenes, are from to differents time in the game history.
The part were Kratos opens a gate, one is from this last trailer, the other one was from the one before this a couple of months ago.
But instead, the Axe scenes are absolutely differents. Lets see when the game comes out.

This channel is despicable...they intentionally use bad quality captures to make the games look bad.

It's brighter for gameplay reasons. Darker looks better, but you can't see enemies that well. Others shots are different scenes and one is zoomed in, so lower res. Overall the same, just more player friendly lighting.

Those snakes are two different times, why? Because in 2016 trailer, If you focus, you’ll see that Kratos doesn’t have that Mimir’s head, but in this new trailer he has it!

It is still a good looking game, but this is a big downgrade from the 2016 footage. 2016 looks so detailed, almost CGI like.

You don't compare graphics using different scenes and different time of day.

"Oh my god, GOW graphics downgraded" Like EVERY GAME THATS EVER BEEN MADE LOOKS EXACTLY LIKE ITS TRAILERS (THATS PRE-RENDERED UNDER THE LATEST PC SPECS) LOL. Calm down most of yall playing games with 1080p or $300 Vizio 4k tv's u wont even notice the difference so stop it.

Why the 2018 video is in lower resolution?

I don't know a developer that doesn't do this. The initial trailers are always the best rendering possible for each scene they select. Even our Lord and saviour CD projekt red did this with the witcher 3. Anyone who's played GOW play it for the story and gameplay first and foremost anyways.

If you notice the lighting is also different, they also change the way things look in scenes from trailers to the game because you’ve already seen parts of the game from trailers and they don’t want it to be the same and not really surprising

And I imagine that the Sonyers will not say anything about this game, but they complain about the downgradres of the Ubisoft games.
