My Biggest E3 2016 Surprise: God of War

My thoughts on the new refreshing God of War reboot

I am a big fan of the God of War series, and I have to say this new idea they have blew my mind!! The graphics are absolutely ridiculous to the point where it looks even better than uncharted and I never thought nothing would beat that so far.Santa Monica studios is very unique with the type of style they go for can't wait for this game 2017 !!

Well, Kratos never knew anything other than war. Raised by military, betrayed by a god (Ares) who killed his family. Betrayed by Athena and Zeus who promised to put an end to his nightmares following his family murder. Who would not be filled by pure rage and anger.
Kratos needed all that to be the god slayer he became in 3. Some people might not have like that, but he was a very consistent character.
Hyped for this one again.

Kratos conquered the hack n slash genre, now it's time for the action adventure with rpg elements. This is the direction i wanted them to take after 3, and after beating all the previous Gow games, i'm happy that Kratos and God of War series are evolving.

i expected him to change, as far as mot being mad all of the time because he got his revenge in 3. im just glad they switched to norse mythology. for me its more interesting than greek mythology and more varieties of gods.

Man I played almost all the GoW games. One of my favorite franchises and I'm happy with the change. Forget the haters.

I'm mixed. Santa Monica delivers on the combat, so I'm not worried there. The camera angle and new Kratos is something that's going to have to grow on me.

This new style finally made me interested in God of war :) this will be my first game into the series

The new GoW was definitely surprising and I really liked it. A lot of people trying to down play it saying its like Skyrim and what not. Im glad its no longer a hack and slash game and more story driven

I'm don't have much of a history with playstation either, other than the PS4, but GOW looks interesting.

people hate change but for me what i saw think ill love god of war game right now im looking more forward to playstation games then xbox whats new

xbox same stuff how much love gears i feel getting old to me starting to lose intersting in ti
i pro buy gears of war and forza on fence on sea of thiefs

most stuff xbox show im not into
dead raising, halo wars, the flamebound or what ever it called lol i was hoping they show new ip but nothing really got my attention

Lol what did I tell you Erica. Go look at my comment on you E3 predictions video. I told you Sony would be bringing the First party stuff didn't I. How Ironic that Gears is the one that looked pretty much the same and God or War re invented itself and looked fresh. Ms showed us what we had already seen besides Forza and Dead rising 3 while Sony went ham with their conference.
